Live Stream: Annual Women In Business and Leadership Conference of the Overseas Fellowship of Nigerian Christians, UK
In April, the Hartford Business Journal recognized 15 remarkable women who are making a significant difference within their organizations and the community. This year’s honorees demonstrate business success, confidence in themselves and their organizations and a strong track record of professional leadership. And like many leaders, they’ve also had to change to an adapting environment.
Our annual Women in Business event originally scheduled for May 4, was cancelled given the current environment and need for social distancing. Thankfully, we are still able to gather virtually to celebrate these remarkable honorees. On June 4th & 9th, the Hartford Business Journal will present a special two-part webinar series featuring the 2020 Women in Business honorees as they discuss their leadership roles as well as inspiring and motivating through change and growth. These women are moving swiftly through this time of change with positivity and confidence. Recordings of these webinars can be viewed here: https://www.hartfordbusiness.com/hbj-events/women-in-business
This video honors all 15 of our honorees. We hope that you enjoy. Congratulations to the 2020 Women in Business honorees!
Cate Luzio is CEO and founder of Luminary, a co-working space and collaboration hub that brings together women, women-identified, and male allies for professional development and networking. In this session recorded during Yelp’s Women in Business Summit (March 24-25, 2021), Cate shares advice on how she has survived and thrived both before and during COVID.
As women in business, we have come so far; but as this event recognizes there is still work to be done. Women still hold only 17% of CEO positions and women-owned businesses still face growth hurdles.
In our 4th Annual State of Women in Business Event, we looked at the current data, and trends on all women in business.
This year, we brought together a panel of leaders to share the reality and data that COVID has had and continues to have on women in business, as well as what recovery looks like.
